New Look

If you haven't already noticed, things look a little different around here! I was getting tired of my annoyingly busy background, so I decided to change my whole blog template to incorporate a much more clean look.

I'm also going to start including larger pictures, in hopes someday soon that I will have a higher quality camera to share crisp photos. I'm secretly drooling over getting an SLR camera for our pending trip to Italy in the spring. Plus I want a really good camera for when we have kids someday.

I'm currently researching what the best, most affordable "beginner" camera of this variety would be, so we'll see when/if I make the plunge. All I know is if I do purchase the camera, some photography classes are in order so I use more than auto mode...

Things are a changin'

As you've probably noticed, I took a little creative liberty with my blog. Now that we're officially married, I felt like I needed to change things up around here! I've changed the blog title to a more fitting "Mr. & Mrs.", which accurately reflects our current situation, although those titles are taking some getting used to! I included a nice sunset photo from Tahiti as the background to the new blog title.

I've also added and removed some other pictures on the right hand side of the page, and I've updated my favorite links. Looks like I'll have to get some more now that the wedding is over!

In other news, I uploaded some of our Moorea pictures to Flickr last night, so I'm getting there. Check them out here: http://www.flickr.com/kelleyandnathan.

I've also gotten questions on if pictures can be downloaded from our Flickr account. In fact, they can! You have to sign up for a Flickr account and add kelleyandnathan as a contact. Then, if you click on an individual picture and click on "All Sizes", it will give you a link to download the picture. Walaa!

What's a Girl to Do?

I had some free time on my hands, which is rather hard to come by these days, so I made some changes to the blog! I found a cool way to change the background using digital scrapbooking, so my paper of choice right now is Christmas trees...as I'm sure you've noticed.

I also added a widget on the right that shows you a random sampling of books in my library. Since I absolutely LOVE books, I think it's the coolest thing ever!

Additionally, I added some of my favorite wedding links, a wedding countdown clock, and a visitor counter so I know how many peeps are checking out the blog. Especially since no one leaves comments anymore.. :-(
